Overview
Perfection Events was selected to design, produce, and manage millions of dollars in operational funds for the delegates welcoming events, and did so with less than 4 weeks planning time. The event was strategically designed to communicate the message that the client desired—Welcome to [authentic] Philadelphia! That seems straightforward on the surface, but Philadelphia is an epicenter of art, culture, dining, diversity, and so much more. So the party, in just three hours, needed to convey those messages through experiences we created, while also showcasing our region holistically. Our event design featured 5 live performance stages strategically placed throughout the Kimmel Center for Performing Arts, and close to 20 acts (including name talent) graced those stages. We also featured a mix of almost 20 local restaurants and caterers. Guests were delighted as they discovered Philadelphia while exploring the venue. The complexities of our logistics management included all of these entertainment and vendor aspects as well as the management and engagement of various corporate and political stakeholders, liaising with trade unions and state and city officials, design and printing of all collateral, security planning, volunteer communication and management, security and protocol planning, and management of every logistical detail.
Results
Program results exceeded client expectations. Despite tight time constraints and challenges that made cost-effectiveness of concern, Perfection Events was able to deliver an impeccable event experience which enthralled guests and adhered to the strict budgetary requirements
The Perfection Events team set the tone for the 2016 Democratic National Convention week with a spectacular welcome party that wowed our guests from beginning to end. The Perfection Events staff worked day and night to plan and implement a 3,500-person party in only three weeks.
