In preparation of their 40th Year Anniversary, the African American Museum in Philadelphia (AAMP) engaged Perfection Events to create a fresh experience for guests and ensure their strategic objectives were translated into the event design. Like many anniversary celebrations, the 40th anniversary afforded the museum the opportunity to accomplish several key goals, including showcasing its outstanding achievements and acknowledging the contributions of key decision-makers, members of the Board of Directors and staff. While AAMP intended to incorporate these traditional goals in its 40th anniversary celebration, priority was given to announcing the beginning of a new era of accomplishment for the museum. Hallmarks of this new era highlighted four high level strategic initiatives.
